Voices in My Head
Effective Date: August 16, 2026
Voices in My Head is a private journaling and personal reflection application. We understand that journal entries may contain deeply personal information, and we believe users should understand clearly what information the app collects, where it is stored, when it may be processed by artificial intelligence, and what happens when an account is deleted.
Depending on how you use Voices in My Head, we may collect and store:
Your journal content is not provided to our analytics or crash-reporting services for analytics purposes.
Journal entries and attachments are stored so that Voices in My Head can provide its journaling, reflection, history, and related features.
Your journal entries are not sold to advertisers. They are not intentionally provided to analytics or crash-reporting services such as Mixpanel or Sentry.
Voices in My Head includes optional artificial intelligence features powered by Google Gemini.
AI processing occurs only when a user actively requests an AI-powered feature, such as an AI Deep Review, analysis, overview, or a question requiring information from the user's journal.
Depending on the feature requested, the app may transmit relevant journal entries, contextual information, and limited account information such as the user's name to Google Gemini so that the requested response can be generated.
Some AI features may require access to multiple journal entries in order to build context and provide a detailed review or overview. Other requests may use only specific entries or information relevant to the user's question.
The AI does not independently browse, monitor, or review a user's journal. Journal information is accessed for AI processing only as part of an active user-requested AI session.
